Thanksgiving
We have been discussing with players at our Club, the possibility of having a pot luck Thanksgiving dinner at 1:30 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day. The whole family will be included, of course. The price will be $7 per person with a dish to contribute to the cost of the main dishes, and $12 per person for those without a dish, to cover the expense of the main dish. Since many of us have our families in other parts of the country, there are many who would not even cook Thanksgiving dinner because there are too few people to enjoy it. We will have to make our own family occasion, right here at the Ace of Clubs. Reservations will be required so we know how much to cook. If some of you would like to play a game after dinner, we will. At about 3:00.
