   The Ace of Clubs is a bridge and games studio for strategic, challenging, intellectual games competition.  It is a club for all people who love friendly competition in a multiplicity of games that many of us grew up on; games like Bridge, Chess, Scrabble, Gin Rummy, Mahjong, Hearts and Spades.  Let's bring 'em back in a lovely social environment where you can actually see the faces (not online), develop new friendships and enjoy a social environment.

        The Ace of Clubs is located in Tempe, Arizona, and offers many types of games enjoyed by people of all ages. The Club opened on October 28, 2007, and is owned and operated by Linda Green and Sam Whitten.  We hold ACBL sanctioned bridge games everyday and on three evenings ("The Night Games").  We have a staff of teachers and directors and are always available for individual, group or supervised play lessons for beginner, intermediate and advanced players.

        The game of bridge is described as an intellectual "mind sport" and has even been under consideration by the Olympics Committee to be added as an Olympic sport.  Bill Gates, Warren Buffet, Omar Shariff, and Dwight D. Eisenhower are among the many who found their passion in duplicate bridge competition. 
        
        Keep checking our website.  We will be announcing a Mahjong game schedule.  We will be adding Mahjong, Scrabble, Chess, Hearts, Spades and Gin Rummy ladder competitions. 

Also, under consideration, is a program for children to learn these games and to learn to compete among their peers in a friendly, supervised environment.  It is a place for people of all ages to develop friendships with others with common interests.  The Club is a meeting place for fun.   Being smart is cool and intellectual competitive games prepare you for success!
