TOM VIND'S "Bridge From the Beginning."
TONIGHT
Begins Monday, November 3, at 6:30. 
$80, series of 8, and includes the book. 
Tom is an accredited ACBL teacher and you will be ready to play after only a few lessons.  Come enjoy this experienced, marvelous teacher and learn to play bridge, RIGHT FROM THE BEGINNING.  There are 20 signed up as of Wednesday morning.  There are many styles of play in bridge; i.e., party bridge, rubber bridge, Chicago, and duplicate, to name a few, and, there are many approaches to the game; Standard American, 2/1, Precision, K/S, Montreal Relay, ACOL.  All of these styles require a good foundation in knowledge of the basics to be even moderately competitive and that is what is being taught here.  Basics of bridge, from the beginning.

TUESDAY NIGHT, NOVEMBER 18, OUR NEXT PRO-AM NIGHT!
 If you are in the 0-199 mp range or a "pro," and would like to play, call the Club to sign up.  We have some signed up already.  This past Tuesday, October 28, we had 20 "pros" and 20 "ams", cold cuts provided by the Club, a funny looking, but delicious, kitty litter cake made by Ann Walter, veggies by Nan Holt, deviled eggs by Sherrie Holliday and a delightful, fun evening.

16 PEOPLE ENJOYED THE OPENING 0-49 GAME ON TUESDAY NIGHT!  JASON TAUGHT A LESSON ON OPENING ONE OF A MAJOR AND THEN THEY PLAYED 12 BOARDS.  CLAIRE HAMILTON AND NAN HOLT WON AND RECEIVED ACBL MASTERPOINTS.
  COMMENTS:  "I LOVE THIS!"
THEY WERE THROUGH BY 9:00.  A FEW WANTED TO STAY AND PLAY MORE, WHICH THEY DID.

IT IS HERE!  beginning Tuesday, September 9, at 6:30. 

Jason, who has been assisting Nancy on Monday nights with her very successful lessons, is beginning a 0-49 Supervised Play game on Tuesday nights, and this game will also qualify for ACBL masterpoints to be awarded to the winners.  The price of the lesson and the game is $7.00.  The lesson will be from 6:30 to 7:00 and the game will start at 7:00, right after the lesson.  The game will consist of boards he creates from the lesson that he teaches.  A minimum number of boards, based on the lesson topic, will be played so the game should be over no later than 9:00.  He is also planning a question and answer session afterwards for those interested in staying a little longer.  TUESDAYS ARE FINALLY HERE!   

  Sandy Landy, continues with her beginner and intermediate lessons on Saturday mornings.  So you have lots of choices to make at the Ace of Clubs on Saturday mornings, and  at other times throughout the week.  Let your time and interest determine what you will do!

ATTENTION:  The Tuesday game at 10:30 was a great success.  Everyone had a great time and enjoyed the earlier time, as I hoped they would.
