FROM THE ACE OF CLUBS re: 0-1500 game
YOU ARE INVITED:
We have considered this for quite some time, ever since we re-opened, and decided that there is a need to open a very special game on Tuesday mornings. The game is for players with 0-1500 master points and will be stratified. We will teach a lesson at 10:00, start the game at 10:30, have a short break for lunch around 12:30, and then continue the rest of the game. It should end by around 1:45 but no later than 2:00, which allows the players to learn, play, and run their errands or just to get home without any traffic after the game.
We are committed to our newer players in helping with their success in playing the game and earning master points within their categories without having to compete with bronze, silver, gold, platinum and grand masters. These games will be stratified with a top limit of 1500. A very comfortable environment for learning and succeeding is our utmost goal. If you understand the basic theory in bridge, you will definitely become more successful. Anyone with questions about hands played in this game are encouraged to stay afterwards while we explain and answer your questions. Partners will be available and are guaranteed.
There is a Regional tournament in
Consider this game a workshop to higher learning. It will produce success for you!!
This workshop game starts on Tuesday, February 23, at 10:00. It will be worth the change in your schedule to participate with us. That we guarantee.
Credentials and goals of Linda Green: I am a Gold Life Master and have won numerous regional open pair games, particularly focused in knockouts and Swiss teams. I am an "expert" on strategy in team games. I have earned 4200 Master Points which places me in the top 98 percentile of all ACBL members. My goal is to attain the rank of Diamond Life Master in the next 3 years. I have competed successfully at top levels in national events, including Women’s Life Master Pairs, Life Master Pairs, Mixed Pairs and Board-a-Match teams, placed in the overalls and earned platinum points in those events. I have been a student of the game from the beginning. I believe my spiritual gifts are encouragement, compassion, logic and understanding. I will be one of the lecturers in this special Tuesday game.
Credentials and goals of Sam Whitten: Sam is also a Gold Life Master and a tournament director. He is ranked #310 in all ACBL and #2 locally, right behind Mark Jones, in all time percentage average. He has a law degree from
Together, he and I believe we can help you better understand this game.
